COVID-19 Updates

At Phoenix Center we follow the guidelines established by the CDC and are working closely with the Regional Response Health Collaborative Program (RRHCP) Case Management Department from Penn Institute, ensuring everyone is wearing appropriate PPE and taking every step to continue to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

In January 2021 all of our staff and residents were offered COVID-19 vaccinations allowing the majority of our population to be vaccinated as consent was provided. We have had covid clinics in January, February, March- via Walgreens, and in May to current month from our own Pharmacy.

Communication with our residents, family members, representatives and community is very important to us. We currently have COVID-19 positive cases at this time. All of our residents continue to be monitored as we are continuing COVID-19 testing as recommended along with continuing to offer vaccinations and boosters.

Our dedicated staff are committed to protecting our residents and keeping their loved ones informed. Remember to wash your hands, practice social distancing and stay safe.

We are open for all in person visitation! Upon entering the facility we ask you wear a mask and you will be asked to complete a COVID screening as well and possibly asked to complete a covid swab. As an alternative we continue to offer and recommend Zoom or Skype visits with your loved ones to assist in protecting our community of residents.

In person visits increases a resident’s risk for exposure to COVID-19. The risk may be further increased by factors such as a resident’s health status, the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Again we appreciate your support through this difficult time.
